day 21

It was hard to wake up this morning, but definitely on the better side of a good night’s sleep 

Isaac is v eager today, he wants to put the whole ceiling up in the van. I helped him with the very important task of holding the middle plank of wood straight. Apparently this is a crucial step. Other than that, there isn’t a lot for me to do today, so I went for a walk 

Tried to go to Blueberry Docks. I am confused how Bethan and Lydia make it up the death stairs of ice when they go this way?? I turned around and went the long way 

Started listening to Brené Brown’s new podcast series, it is so good. Ended up staying at the Docks for 3 episodes 

Tried to walk back the short cut way so I’d slip down the slippery stairs of death, but I lost the trail in the woods. So turned around, again, to go back the long way 

Apparently the profile of the roof makes the ceiling more complex than anticipated, but I am very impressed so far. It’s gonna look lush. I tried to put a screw in and almost drilled a hole through the roof. I won’t try to help anymore today

Went for a social distance bike ride with Gracie, Fiona and Chloe (and Chauncey but does he really count?) It was real nice. Sat around the Spruce Grove Park and chatted. I guess it’s kinda OK to hang out like this, as long as full lock down doesn’t happen here too 

Made a Thai tofu stir fry for dinner and watched Game of Thrones. I have been outside for most of the day and it’s been glorious. Long may this weather continue
