day 27

HAPPY EASTER BABY!! I woke up before everyone else and set up an easter egg hunt in the garden, then made crepes for everyone. Isaac made us some espresso martinis, then we had mimosas with the prosecco Ollie got me for my birthday (thanks Ollie sorry it took me so long to consume) 

Let the children loose in the garden to find the eggs. Sadly our resident squirrel had nibbled a few before they were found. Lydia won, obviously

We got dressed into proper clothes all put some make up on. Felt weird but nice, it’s been a long time, haven’t done that in a while 

We skated up and down the drive, played some tennis, shot some cans, chilled out in the sun. Isaac roller bladed 

Bethan made a cheese board, I obviously ate lots of cheese. Life is hard when you’re lactose intolerant but love cheese 

Started to cook the BBQ. I made some tartlets, Lydia did skewers, Bethan made the salads, Isaac the man obviously did the flames and the snags (Australian term for sausage. Even in isolation you learn something new everyday) 

This has been a real nice day. Forgot about everything for a hot minute

Went into a food coma, watched The Mandalorian, already feel a headache coming on

I’m hungover before I even get into bed, again, not fair
