day 31
1 month has been completed. Can’t decide whether it feels like it’s been a lifetime or if it’s flown by
Isaac started with the van. He’s fitting the bed frame today. I helped sand it down a bit so it glides gracefully from sofa to bed, then held it still whilst Isaac screwed it to the hinges in the van (so we can access the storage under the bed easily), now he has to make the supporting frame and legs
Ran out of things for me to help with, so sat in the sun on the drive with Bethan. Did some meal planning and made a shopping list. Researched places to see in Canada too, the Yukon looks real cool. I hope its not too long before we can go
Chauncey and Chlo came round to pick up some material for their van. Theirs is looking good, jel of all the head room they have. I also hope it’s not too long before we can hug our friends again
The support for the frame is all done, looks good! Now to make the final decision on the cabinetry. Apparently my ideas aren’t always helpful, but it’s hard to know when you have zero experience with these things
Went for a quick cycle around the golf course. Then me and Bethan went to the Independent to do a big food shop. Completely forgot that we would have to queue to go in, didn't bring a coat
Lydia made veggie burgers for her and Bethan. We treated ourselves to salmon, veg and garlic mash
Watched a program about Yellowstone. I wanna see a bear in real life soon. I am absolutely exhausted, again?!! I can’t even open my laptop to do this. Finding it a bit hard to keep motivated. I don’t want it to be forced or feel like I’m obliged. Will have a few days off and get back to it when I want to. I hope I remember everything that has happened in the morning
