day 9

Completely overwhelmed by the response to this

Aiden came over to do his van too. Isaac showed him some things (in a socially distant way). I started painted the walls on the inside. Isaac stained the floorboards. I liked doing the painting, it’s very cathartic

We hiked up the hill to Rendezvous on Blackcomb, watched the sunset and then rode out. It was definitely very tough in some parts but I am proud of us. A couple of years ago I would have laughed in the face of someone who suggested hiking up a mountain for fun

Defrosting whatever we have left in the freezer for dinner. Body is gonna be sore AF tomorrow. 

I am very impressed by all the people who do all that touring. Maybe one day I’ll be a split boarding gal too. Pretty sure the touring people would probably laugh at tying your snowboard around your waist and dragging it up the hill, but it was a lot easier than carrying it I tell you (credit to Isaac). Annoyed at myself for not getting around to doing my AST this winter.
