day 16

I am sick of wearing thermals under my day pyjamas. Why is it so cold again, I’m sure I heard it’s nearly spring 

I re-sanded the whole of the floor to get rid of the orange stain. It was hard. It’s better to express your distaste in something, before it gets glued to the floor

The Grocery Store in the village has closed. A bit scary. Bethan works there so she brought back a bunch of food for us

Isaac made another Spanish omelette for lunch

We put the new stain on, it is a million times better

I went for a run around the golf course and Isaac cycled next to me. I thought it was going to be a good way to motivate me to keep running, but he just slowed down to chat whenever I started walking

Facetimed the queen of darls herself, G Low. Isolation in NZ sounds not too similar to here. Miss her lots 

Had a group facetime with Gracie and Fiona. Also miss them lots 

Having veggie nugs and salad for dinner (back on track) paired with a very nice Pinot Noir

I am starting to get a bit more of a perspective on how unique this time is. Now that the initial stress has passed, and as long as we stay healthy/have enough money to keep us afloat, we’re just living and chilling

Early night I’d say, I am tired.
