day 48
Woke up for a 9.30 zoom (harder than I thought it would be) with Phoebe, Yas and Nia. My first zoom of isolation and first time I've spoken to Phoebe in a million years
It’s an unexpectedly a nice day. With how rainy it was yesterday I assumed it would be similar. A nice surprise but also I had planned a few rainy day activities, a bit sad I’ll have to do them another day
Isaac and I went for a bike ride and ended up cycling pretty far, went on valley trails I didn’t even know were there. Sat by the river, watched some cool kids do some cool tricks in the skate park. Isaac hit the pump tack on his beach cruiser, the judgemental gaze of the real bikers weighed heavy. Ended up at Green Lake. Pretty hungry though so headed back for some food. Stopped at Alpine houses. Liz was outside chilling, Fiona was about to cut up some banana bread, just in time before I got hangry
No one was home when I got back, so did some yoga. Accidentally picked a REAL hard one, annoying. Made a stir fry after and watched a Game of Thrones; still feels a bit naughty watching TV in the day.
Went for a walk around the Blueberry trails at my favourite time of the day. Found the swing, definitely a nice view. Made some Thai ‘fishless' fish cakes for dinner (with jackfruit), bit of a faff to make, not sure I’d rush to make them again, but they were yum
